Siri Weston

Stoughton- Siri Weston, age 59, passed away on Saturday, August 14, 2010 after a courageous fight with her illness. She was surrounded by her family.  Siri was born in Madison on May 26, 1951, the daughter of William and Doris (Lehman) Kitson.  She worked for MGE for over 25 years.  On August 6, 1977 Siri married Rodney Weston.  She was an avid Badgers sports fan.  Siri was a dedicated volunteer, ringing bells for the Salvation Army and purchasing much needed supplies for the American Troops in Iraq.  She loved musicals, dark chocolate and most of all spending time with her family.  Siri is survived by her husband of 33 years, Rodney; sister, Gina (Tom) Hendron; brother, Matthew (Barbara) Kitson; nieces and nephews, Jason Hendron, Kristin (Alex) Wenzel, Shane (Susan) Kitson and Bryce Kitson; many grand nieces and grand nephews, relatives and many friends.  A Celebration of Life will be held at noon on Saturday, August 21, 2010 at Olson-Holzhuter-Cress Funeral Home in Stoughton.  Friends may greet the family from 10:00 AM until the time of services Saturday.  A special thank you to the staff of St. Mary's Hospital CVICU for their superlative care, compassion and personal concern for Siri and her family.  Siri was a beloved wife, sister, aunt and friend. We will forever have a hole in our hearts without her in our lives.   Be at peace, Siri.
