Stella Prochaska

Stoughton- Stella L. Prochaska, age 94, passed away on Thursday, February 21, 2019 surrounded by her family. She was born in Antigo, WI on June 25, 1924, the daughter of Anton and Lucy Blatecky. On October 7, 1950 Stella married Raymond F. Prochaska. Stella was a cherished loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. As a homemaker she enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking, and sewing. She is survived by her children, Susan (Bradford) Hardie, Karen (Gary) Galvin, Rick (Peggy) Prochaska, and Nancy (Wayne) Prochaska-Krantz; grandchildren, Christopher, Matt, Katie (Eric), Taylor, Madison, Jordan, Emily, Gregory, Nicholas and Jacob; and great grandsons, Luke and Ethan. Stella was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Ray. Private family services were held. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in memory of Stella L.
