Stephen R. Mifflin

Stephen Ray Mifflin was born January 28, 1959 in Indianapolis Indiana to Jerry and Judith Irwin Mifflin, who preceded him in death. 

He attended Warren Central High School where he played basketball, and his lifelong nickname “Big Miff” began. He graduated from Indiana University in 1981. 

He met his future wife Diana at IU when they lived in the same residence hall. They married in 1984 and share two sons Michael (Emily), West Lafayette IN and Dan (Rachel), Asheville NC. 

He and Diana moved to Wisconsin from Florida in 1999 and raised their family in Sun Prairie. 

He worked as a Controller in the Finance industry all his career and retired in 2021. 

Steve loved Indy Car racing, Indiana basketball, hiking, music festivals and grilling out which he excelled at. He loved spending many happy and adventurous vacations and holidays with his family and in-laws. 

He was especially proud of his two sons. He was a dedicated father and loved his wife and kids.

Steve requested no service. His family will hold a private remembrance at a later date. 

The family would like to thank Cress Funeral home for their compassionate care during this difficult time. 

Steve will be forever missed.
