We said our final goodbye to Steve Evans on June 26, 2024. He was born May 15, 1953, to Joan (Zeier) and Don Evans.
Gifted with deep faith, a keen intellect and perseverance he accomplished many of his life goals. In addition to Steve’s role at Evco Plastics he had a passion for mining, was a lifelong wrestling enthusiast, all while being a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife Julie, daughter Lyra, sons Daniel (Jess), Paul (Amy) and grandsons Nathan and Owen. In addition, he leaves behind many relatives, friends, employees and mentors who all contributed immeasurably to his rich and full life.
We remember Steve with full hearts. He was one of a kind and will be missed by all who had the good fortune to know him.
A special thank you to the staff who cared for him at Oakwood Prairie Ridge. Their support and care is something that we will never forget.
In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the American Cancer Society.
