Steve C. Stadler

Stoughton- Steve C. Stadler, age 58, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on Tuesday, July 26, 2011. He was born in Elgin, IL on June 1, 1953, the son of Carl and Antonia (Vece) Stadler. Steve grew up in Elgin, spent many years in the Fox Valley area and enjoyed many years in Madison with his children. He is survived by his daughter, Megan Stadler; son and daughter-in-law, Justin and Dana Stadler and their children, Gavin and Ava; seven siblings, Carla (Skip) Mowery, Carl Stadler Jr., Russel Stadler, Curtis Stadler, Carlene Stadler, Vincent Young and Jeff Young; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Carl; and step father, Cliff Young. A brief Celebration of Life will be held at 1:30 PM on Saturday, July 30, 2011 at Cress Funeral Home in Stoughton. Friends may greet the family from 10:00 AM until 1:30 PM on Saturday at the funeral home.

Steve was fueled in his curiosity of the world and stars around him. He was devoted to enriching the lives of his family and friends especially his children and grandchildren.
