Steven Olah

Steven Matthew Olah was born to Linda Sutter and Steven R Olah in Cleveland, Ohio on Friday May 12, 1972. He was adored by his grandparents, Bob and Betty Sutter and Steve and Helen Olah. He loved his step-dad Mike Fuller and Mike's parents Bob and Betty Fuller. He always referred to his father as his father and Mike as his dad, trying hard as always to be sure to make clear how much he loved and appreciated both of them in his life. Losing his father and beloved grandmother Betty weeks apart in 1986 gave him a unique perspective on life at an early age.
Steve loved sports - Fantasy Football, Ohio State and the Tribe were a big part of his weekend! He was nearly encyclopedic in his knowledge of sporting facts. He was curious about the world and loved talking into the night about a wide variety of topics. He was smart and funny.
As an adult, Steve did not always choose an easy life but would be the first to tell you that he made bad choices at times. He never blamed. He rarely complained about the pain he felt every single day. He worked hard to keep Prodigy Painting afloat and was deeply grateful for his friends who worked with him and who allowed him to keep the business going, even when he could not physically do the work.
He had a kind and open heart and taught us all to be loving and accepting of others as they tried their best in this life. He encouraged us to give everyone the benefit of the doubt: "They're probably doing the best they can." He loved his family, his friends, and his dog Mellow. Please remember his life and how he touched yours.
He leaves his mother, family, and his friends stunned by his loss but grateful that they knew him. He would want us to remember his life, not his death, so that we could smile when he came to mind. He would want us to take care of each other and, possibly most importantly, take care of Mel.
