Susan A. Endres, 76

Sept. 26, 1947 – April. 17, 2024

Susan A. Endres, age 76, passed away peacefully on Wed., April 17, 2024 at St. Mary’s Hospital with her family at her side. She was the daughter of Joe and Joan (Mentzer) Steinle. She married Richard M. “Butch” Endres on Sept 10, 1966 at St. John’s Catholic Church in Waunakee.

Susan worked at SPL for many years until her retirement in 2011.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Richard “Butch” Endres; daughter, Sherry (Tim) Keane; son, Mark Endres and friend Pamela Boehm Schroeder; grand-children, Joel and Bradly Keane, Alex and Joseph Endres; and great- grandson Matthew Keane. She is also survived by a brother,  Bill (Jane) Steinle and sister, Jean Lockwood; brothers-in-law, Ken (Mary) Endres, Leo (Joyce) Endres, Paul (Philomena) Endres; and sisters-in-law, Eileen Endres, Marlene Sveum (Joe) Rutz, Mary Ann Gosda, and Carol Endres; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Joan; brothers, Steve and Tom Steinle; brothers-in- law, David Endres, George Gosda, and Lyle D. Sveum; and nephew, Leo S. Endres.

Sue loved to read books and go to the casino. She also enjoyed her grandsons and great- grandsons company.

Funeral services will be held on Tues., April 30, 2024 at 12:00 noon at St. John’s Catholic Church, 209 South St., Waunakee. Friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will take place in the church cemetery.

The family would like to thank Dr. Hobson and the MICU at St. Mary’s Hospital for the tender loving care they provided before her death.
