Susan Harrington

Susan Ann Harrington, age 69, of Madison passed away on October 20, 2012. She was born on December 24, 1942 to William and Eleanor Harrington in Los Angeles, CA. Susan attended high school in Los Angeles. She received her undergraduate degree from Frances Payne School of Nursing in Cleveland, Ohio and her Masters Degree in Nursing from University of Wisconsin-Madison. She served many years at St. Mary's Hospital. Susan is survived by numerous friends including long-time friend Patricia A. Smith and her golden retriever Frodo. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Bill Harrington and her cousin Helen Coleman. Susan liked to travel and took many trips including Central America, the Galapagos Islands and Africa. She enjoyed bird watching, photography and woodworking. A Celebration of Life gathering is planned for December 15, 2012 at Holy Wisdom Monastery, 4200 County Hwy M, Middleton, WI 53562. Visitation will be at 9:30 am followed by a service at 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
