Susan Jean Sarac Reyes

Susan Jean Sarac Reyes, age 65, a devoted Mother and Grandmother passed away in her home February 25, 2025, in Mesquite, Texas after her 2nd battle with throat cancer. She was born in Madison, WI on March 5, 1959 to Joseph Sarac, Jr. and Joan Mae (Kroetz) Sarac. She is survived by her children Sean Rangel, Anthony Rangel, Timothy Rangel, Rebeca Rangel, Son in law Oscar Hernandez; 9 Grandchildren; 2 brothers Michael and Jeffrey Sarac; nieces Katherine, Holly, Amber, Stephanie and Breanna (Clayton); Nephews Nicholas (Kerstin), Corbin, Sam; great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Joan Sarac, daughter Amanda Sarac, brother John Sarac and sister Jill Sarac.

Susan loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed being outdoors, playing sports, at the poolside, going to the zoo and enjoyed watching her sons and grandchildren in their athletic activities. She also enjoyed listening to music, dancing and having a good time with family and friends.

Susan lived her life filled with lots of love and laughter. She will be deeply missed but her love will shine on through the lives of those she loved.

A special Thank you to Dr. Britt and his team, Dr. Nadler and his team, Dr. Sturgeon and his team for taking great care of her during her battle with cancer and a special thank you to the VNA Hospice team who cared for her in the end.

Family and friends are invited to attend visitation services at Cress Funeral Home at 3610 Speedway Road, Madison, WI 53705 Thursday March 13, 2025 from 6:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. and Funeral will be at Resurrection Cemetery Friday March 14, 2025 3:00 p.m. A gathering for family and friends to share memories to follow at Artisan Village 2845 Oregon rd. Fitchburg, Wi 53713 food and drinks will be served.
