Susan Jo Siebecker

Susan Siebecker, age 82, passed away on May 30, 2023, at Agrace Hospice.   She was born on November 14, 1940, in Los Angeles, California to Dr. Karl LaFollette Siebecker Jr. and Alice (nee: Zobel) Siebecker.  Susan grew up in Shorewood Hills, WI and graduated from Wisconsin High School.  Susan married Jim Barnard and they had two children: Judy and Karl.  Susan held numerous positions within the UW Hospital and Clinics, where she made a lot of dear friends.   Her love of fashion and beauty took her to be a long-time Avon representative.   Susan was passionate about and loved all animals; she had many pets throughout her life, birds, fish, raccoons, minks, chinchillas, sheep, horses, dogs, and cats.   She raised and showed beagles and fox terriers for many years, but her true calling later in life was Cornish Rex cats.    Susan also loved to sew and craft; her family will always have a piece of Susan in their homes with the items she made for them.

Susan is survived by her children Karl (Ilsa) and Judy (Lewis) Barnard; grandchildren Matt Baxter, Kyle Baxter, Gage Barnard, and Colton Barnard; great-grandchild Madden Baxter; and siblings Judy, Bud, Bitsy, Robin, and Bill.    She is further survived by other relatives and friends.   She is preceded in death by her parents.

There will be a visitation for Susan on Sunday, July 2 at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3610 Speedway Rd. from 9 am until the time of her memorial service at 10 am.
