Susan A. Williams

Susan A. Williams, a longtime resident of Sun Prairie WI, passed away Wednesday the 6th of April at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison WI with her family by her side.
She was born in Waterbury CT on August 16, 1945 to Peter and Harriet Holmes. She is survived by her children Peter (Rhonda) Williams, Cynthia Ellis and Donna Wedl, her granddaughter Amanda Ellis, a niece Lisa Luckasson, two nephews Robert & Eric Rudel and her grand puppies Sheena and Dakoda Ellis. Susan was preceded in death by her parents (Peter and Harriet Holmes) and her sister Katherine Rudel. Words cannot describe how very much she will be missed.
The family would like to thank the MICU nurses and doctors for Susan's end of life care and compassion they provided the family during this difficult time. We were undeniably grateful for our 'last five minutes'. The family would also like to thank Dr. Alan Singer and her favorite longtime doctor, James Couser.
A big heart felt thank you goes out to Cheryl Birong and Barb DeMars for their visits and constant encouragement throughout Susan's time in the hospital.
Funeral services will be held at Cress Funeral home on Monday, April 11th at 12:00pm. Burial will be at Sun Prairie Memory Gardens and visitation will also be on Monday, April 11th, beginning at 11:00am.
