Suzanne Joan Hann

Stoughton- Suzanne Hann, age 53, passed away on July 8, 2023, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on December 3, 1969 in Montreal, Quebec, the daughter of Anne Sissom (MacDonald) and Ronald Nelson. She lived her formative years in Canada and Nigeria before moving to Oregon, WI at the age of 15. She graduated from Oregon High School in 1987 and settled in Stoughton, WI where she raised her children.

Suzanne was a devoted mother and caring friend. She loved hosting get togethers where she could showcase her amazing cooking abilities and sip on a glass of wine with family and friends. She truly enjoyed gardening and often incorporated the fresh vegetables and herbs in her cooking. She used her creative spirit to decorate her home for every holiday, sew Halloween costumes for her children, and showoff her carpentry skills. Suzanne loved traveling and had visited many places all over the world. Her greatest joy was her children and watching them grow. Her infectious laugh and spontaneous personality touched the lives of many and she will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her three children, Cooper, Bailey and Devon; brother, John (Sheila) Nelson; nephew, Grant and niece, Brooke; step-father Ken Sissom; father Ronald (Antonia) Nelson; and many wonderful friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Anne Sissom.

A memorial gathering will be held from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM on Thursday, July 13, 2023 at Cress Funeral Home, 206 W. Prospect Street, Stoughton.

In lieu of flowers, Suzanne would prefer donations be made to the American Cancer Society or Rainbow Hospice.
