Tami Pfaff

Sun Prairie - Tami S. Pfaff, age 48, passed away surrounded by the love of her family and friends on Sunday, May 4, 2014 after a brave four year fight with cancer. She was born on May 18, 1965 in Madison, Wisc, the daughter of Lloyd and Cathy (Engelke) Bram. She married the love of her life Mark Pfaff on June 22, 1991 in Sun Prairie, Wisc.

Tami graduated from Sun Prairie High School in 1983 and earned her bachelors in business management from UW-Whitewater in 1986. After college she took a job for the FDIC and then started a career in banking, most recently with BMO-Harris Bank as Branch Manager. In 1994 she gave birth to her daughter Kala who was the joy of her life. Tami enjoyed doing many things with Kala, including shopping, boating and family vacations. She also enjoyed her girl weekend getaways, volleyball, scrapbooking and camping.

She is survived by her husband Mark, daughter Kala, father Lloyd, and in-laws Bob & Cathy Pfaff. She is also survived by her very special aunt "sister friend" Monica Reed and close cousin Jodi Fowler. She will be missed by many caring and adoring sisters and brothers-in-law, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Tami was preceded in death by her mother Cathy.

The family would like to thank Dr. Rob Hegeman, Sandi, and all the staff at 1 S. Park U.W. Carbone Cancer Center. They would also like to thank Agrace Hospice for their care and support.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 8, 2014 at Cress Funeral Home, 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at Cress Funeral Home in Sun Prairie from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and also on Thursday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family for a memorial to be established in Tami's name.

You will forever be in my heart Mom and I will miss you every day until I get to see you again. I love you more than anything in the world.
