Tammy Lynn Toso

Tammy Lynn Toso, age 39, died at home on Thursday, March 26, 2009, surrounded by her family, following a brief courageous battle with cancer. She was born on January 5, 1970 in Dubuque, Iowa a daughter of Wilbert and Lucille (Loch) Helbing. Tammy was raised in Platteville and graduated from Platteville High School. She was a graduate of Madison Business College and was working for Cuna in Madison as a Benefits Coordinator. Tammy was a member of Covenant Lutheran Church in Stoughton and enjoyed helping teach Sunday School. She loved to run and completed the Syttende Mai Run. She adored her get a ways with her ""Platteville Girls"". Tammy liked to entertain and loved to bake desserts and cakes, but her favorite thing was caring for and raising her family. Tammy is survived by: her husband, Andrew; 3 daughters, Kelsey (12), Karley (9), and Kortney (4); her parents, Wilbert & Lucille Helbing, Platteville; a sister, Diane (Steve) Kolar, Cedar Rapids; 3 brothers, Dennis (Deb) Helbing, Platteville; Kenneth (Sharon) Helbing, Oconomowoc; and Steven Helbing, Platteville; many nieces and nephews. Tammy was preceded in death by: an infant brother and sister, Donald and Darlene; grandparents, Elmer and Anna Helbing and John and Cecelia Loch. A service celebrating the life of Tammy will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at 4:00 pm at Covenant Lutheran Church, 1525 N. Van Buren St, Stoughton, WI with the Reverend Mark Petersen officiating. There will be a time of sharing and remembrance on Monday, March 30, 2009 from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm at the funeral home and again on Tuesday at the church from 3:00 pm until service. Following the service there will be a reception in fellowship hall at the church. A memorial fund will be established in Tammy's Memory.
