Terence Cade Nyborg

Terence C Nyborg, ""Terry"", longtime resident of Oregon, Wis. passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2011 at the age of 68. Terry was born on February 7, 1943 in Washington D.C. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his daughter, Lori (Reinhard) Nyborg Weiss; his son, Tyler (Wendy) Nyborg; his brother, Richard (Linda) Nyborg; eight grandchildren, Alaina and Janelle Weiss and Travis C. , Kaden, Jona, Jordan, Dawson and Aaron Nyborg; and his nephew, Paul Nyborg . Terry was preceded in death by his parents; and his uncle, Dwight Whitford. He is further survived by his uncle, Robert (Lil) Nyborg; many other loving relatives, and special friends.
Terry was a long time resident of Madison. He graduated from East High School in 1960. He attended UW Madison where he earned a BS in Urban and Regional Planning.
Terry worked for Dane County Social services as a Juvenile Probation Officer until he retired at the age of 42 to become self-employed. Terry started Cade's Cutter lawn service which he ran for many years. Terry was also known as a fair and caring landlord.
Terry enjoyed many outdoor activities such as camping, boating, biking, and hiking. He also enjoyed playing racquetball. He frequently vacationed in Florida where he loved to spend time on the beach collecting shells.
Terry volunteered his time at the Henry Villas Zoo.
The family will receive friends at CRESS FUNERAL HOME on Friday, June 10, 2011 from 4:00-6:00pm. Funeral services will follow at 6:00pm with Pastor Roger Ellis officiating. Burial will be private. Cress Funeral Home is located at 3610 Speedway Rd. Madison, WI.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Henry Villas Zoo would be appreciated to purchase a bench in Terry's memory.
