Terri Jo Cure

October 18, 1959 — July 28, 2010

Verona -- Terri Jo Cure, age 50, died Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at home.   Terri was surrounded by her family and friends upon her passing.   She lost her two-year battle with breast cancer.     She was born Oct. 18, 1959 in Madison, the daughter of Roger and Mary (Sperry) Martin.   Terri was a dedicated and loving wife, mother and friend.   Her favorite hobbies were bingo, slots and bowling.   She loved her annual girl's weekend at Ho-Chunk.   Terri loved to hang out with her two BFFs, Lisa and Karen.   Terri enjoyed her job at Cold Stone Creamery.     The family would like to give a special thank you to Dr. Michael Huie, Karen Moore and all the nurses at Turville Bay and Meriter and the HospiceCare staff.   Terri was our loving angel and will be sadly missed by many.    Terri is survived by her husband, Carl Cure; mother, Mary Watts; children, Tanya (Rob) Bloxham of Fitchburg, Joshua (Samantha) Booth of Columbus, Laura (Tim Feldt) Booth of Madison, and Carl Gene Cure of Madison; grandchildren, Brian, Kelsey and RJ Bloxham and Baby Booth; brothers and sisters, Debbie (Dan) Ehlert of Myrtle Beach S.C., Marty Martin of Madison, Reisa (Trini) Gonzalez of Kenosha, Doug Martin of Madison, Lisa (Joe) Pape of Diamond Ill., Anita Sell of Zion Ill., Paul Watts of Zion, Ill., Jim (Sandy) Cure of Madison, and Ronald Cure of Verona.   She is further survived by mother and father-in-law, Cecil and Sue Cure.   Terri was preceded in death by father, Roger Martin; step-father, Leroy Watts; grandparents, Golda and Jerome Sperry and Frank and Josephine Martin; and sister, Pamela Cramer. A visitation will be held Friday, July 30, 2010 from 6:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m. at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3610 Speedway Road, Madison.   Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 31, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.   Burial will be at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
