Terry Lafferty

Terrance R. Lafferty, age 80, of Waunakee, WI passed away on April 13, 2025.

Terry was born on April 20, 1944, in Aitkin, Minnesota to Donald and Mary (Seguin) Lafferty, He attended Aitkin High School. His work history included 42 years at General Casting Corp. (Sibley West Corp.) and Trac-Rite, where he built lasting relationships and took great pride in his work.

Terry had a deep love for the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and simply being with nature. He was also an avid football fan and was known for his great sense of humor and storytelling. Terry was a kind and dependable father, grandfather and friend. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his daughter, Mary Lafferty; his son Terry (Jill) Lafferty; grandsons, Brady, Connor and Andrew; step-grandson, Alex Taylor; three sisters; 1 brother; and many extended family members and friends. Terry was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers.

A visitation will be held at Winn-Cress Funeral Home, 5785 Hwy Q, Waunakee, on Saturday, April 19, 2025, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.

Burial will take place in Mauston, WI on Monday, April 21, 2025, at St. Patrick’s Cemetery at 11:30 a.m.
