Thelma 'June' Viehdorfer

Thelma 'June' Viehdorfer, age 90, passed away, surrounded by her family, on Monday, July 19, 2010 at Harmony Living in McFarland.   She was born in Fort Atkinson on December 26, 1919, a daughter of James and Mabel (Callaway) Markley.   On March 26, 1945, she was united in marriage to Calvin M. Viehdorfer.   June loved the outdoors, working in her garden, traveling and dancing.   She is survived by a daughter, Janet Tippins, McFarland; a son, Gary Viehdorfer, Salem, Oregon; 2 grandsons, Matthew and Andrew Viehdorfer; 2 grand daughters, Terri (Steve) Pelikan and Traci (Eric) Swenson; great grandchildren, Calvin, Emily June, Nicholas, and Audrey; a sister, Joyce Griffin; a special niece, Donna Metzker; and her loving companion, Joe Mortenson.   She was preceded in death by her husband Calvin; and a sister, Prudy Markley.   A private family service will be held.   Special thanks to HospiceCare, Inc.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to HospiceCare, Inc.
