Thomas J. Hellenbrand

Waunakee/Westport -Thomas J. Hellenbrand age 72, passed away on Saturday, February 26, 2011 at the HospiceCare Center in Fitchburg after a brief illness. Tom was born on July 26, 1938 in Waunakee to Henry and Nora ( Conway) Hellenbrand. He was retired from Mobile Glass in Westport and was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and friends.   Tom is survived by two daughters, Tami (Gregg) Ulatowski of Milwaukee, and Tracy (Joel) Wegenast of Waunakee; four sons, Todd (Laurie) Hellenbrand of Waunakee, Troy (Helen) Hellenbrand of Waunakee, Shawn (Barbara) Hellenbrand of Sun Prairie, and Trent (Tamara) Hellenbrand of Waunakee; sixteen grandchildren, Hannah, Greta, and Ava Ulatowski, Tony, Amanda, Jacob and Katelyn Hellenbrand, Constantine, Thomas, John Paul, Joseph, Maria, Matthew and Benedict Hellenbrand, and Trent and Tierney Hellenbrand; two sisters, Mary Ann Rortvedt and Pauline (Jim) Matz; and his brother, Richard (Mary Beth) Hellenbrand all of Waunakee; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Edward Hellenbrand.   Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 209 South Street, Waunakee. Monsignor James Gunn will officiate. Visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will take place at St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery.
