Thomas Marcantonio

Thomas F. Marcantonio, age 68, of Forest Park, IL passed away on Monday, December 6, 2021 at William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital in Madison, WI. He was born on February 11, 1953 in Oak Park, IL the son of James and Rita Marcantonio. He married Donna Marcantonio on October 20, 2007 in Maywood, IL. He served in Vietnam in the US Army and continued onto the US National Guard upon his honorable discharge. He made a career as an elevator mechanic for Hines VA Hospital, from which he retired. His hobbies included spending time with his beautiful, close-knit friends and family, attending sports events, golfing, gardening, and traveling. Thomas is survived by his wife Donna, sons James (Laura) and Thomas F. Marcantonio Jr., step-daughter Courtney Ball (Tommy), brother Gary (Becky) Marcantonio, sisters Linda Marcantonio and Pat Wagner, grandchildren; Amanda (Brian), Stephanie, Steven, Rocco, Anthony, Dominic, Thomas F. Marcantonio III and Leilani, nieces and nephews; Joseph (Lara), Cate, Michael (Angelina) and Tina (Eddie) and great nieces and nephews; Luca, Luna, Michelle, Tyler and Grace. He is preceded in death by his parents James and Rita and brothers Constantine and Raymond Marcantonio. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at 12:00pm at Sawa’s Old Warsaw Restaurant in Broadview, IL.
