Thomas Reynolds

Fitchburg- Thomas P. Reynolds, age 74, passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at his home following a brief battle with Stage IV pancreatic cancer.  He was born in Madison on July 10, 1948, the son of Thomas and Dorothy Reynolds.

Tom graduated from Madison East High School in 1966.  He was drafted into the US Army and served his country honorably during Vietnam.  On July 29, 1972 Tom married Jeanne Lantta.  Together they enjoyed traveling to Casinos in WI and Iowa.

Tom worked at UW Provisions for 43 years until his retirement in March 2015.  He was an avid sports fan especially the Packers, Badgers, Brewers, and Bucks.  He enjoyed racing, including NASCAR and midget, and bass fishing with his son.  Tom enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Jeanne; three children, Tom (Cynamon) Reynolds, Danielle (David) Aleem, and Deanna (Matt) Iverson; five grandchildren, Spencer Mosel, Trent Reynolds, Hannah Iverson, Kenadi Reynolds, and Myles Iverson; beloved grand dogs; and sister, Sharon Witt.  Tom was preceded in death by his parents; and his grandson Michael Thomas Iverson who was waiting for him in heaven.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 12, 2022 at Cress Funeral Home, 206 W. Prospect Street, Stoughton, with Chaplain David Brynelson officiating.  Military honors will follow.  Friends and relatives are invited to a luncheon, immediately following the services, at the Stoughton VFW.  Friends may greet the family from 10:00 AM until the time of services Friday.
