Timothy John Shirley

Timothy John Shirley, age 50 passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2009. Timothy was born on July 7, 1959, the son of Marion Shirley and Lena Ihle. Tim married Pat Hebel on October 5, 1985 near Poynette, WI. Tim was full of life. He enjoyed good music, good friends, and good times. Poetry was his passion. Camping, downhill skiing and big campfires with friends and family were his favorite past times. His wife, Pat, was the love of his life.

Tim is survived by his wife Pat; siblings, Terri (Bruce), Verlan, Conley, John, Jim, and Judy (Paul); mother, Lena Ihle; and special uncle, Conley Montgomery. He is further survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, brother, Doug, and special aunt, Barb Montgomery.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 5 pm on Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at CRESS Funeral Service, 3610 Speedway Road, Madison. Family will greet friends at the funeral home from 3 pm until the time of service. Burial will be held, prior to the visitation, Wednesday at 2:30 pm in Forest Hill Cemetery, 1 Speedway Road, Madison.
