Todd Hertz

Madison - Todd Jon Hertz left this physical world on Monday, February 8, 2016 as he was held in the arms of his wife and children. Todd was 58 years old - too short a life, yet one that left its mark on many. He married his wife, Maggie Smith, in June of 1982. Together they welcomed three beautiful children into the world. Emily Jordan, Nathan Taylor, and Phoebe Rachel were the joy and loves of his life. Todd graduated from UW Madison with a civil engineering degree. He thoroughly enjoyed the relationships he developed during his 24 year career at KL Engineering. Todd was in the great hands of the UW Hospital and Agrace HospiceCare medical teams before he was in the hands of God. Memorials in honor of Todd can be made to the UW Carbone Cancer Center. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2016 from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm at Olbrich Botanical Gardens, 3330 Atwood Ave., Madison, WI 53704. A tribute to Todd will be held at 3:00 pm.
