Valborg Erdahl

Marshall- Valborg Erdahl, age 89, died on Friday, August 26, 2011. She was born in South Wayne on November 13, 1921, the daughter of Minnick and Aurora (Jensen) Rood. Valborg received her nursing degree in Freeport, IL and worked as an RN in Monroe, Janesville and Stoughton. In 1952 she married Peter Erdahl. Valborg enjoyed watching television, especially the news and the Green Bay Packers. She is survived by her daughter, Valerie; and brother, Robert Rood. Valborg was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; sisters, Minerva, Wanda and Agnes; and brothers, Royal, John and Paul. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 605 Madison Street, Marshall, with Rev. Paul Anderson officiating. Friends and relatives are invited to a luncheon at church immediately following the services. Burial will take place in Eastside Cemetery in Stoughton. Friends may greet the family from 9:30 AM until the time of services Tuesday at church. Memorials may be made to the church.
