Vernon C Koehler

Sun Prairie -- Vernon C. Koehler, age 74, passed away on Tuesday, April 20, 2010, at HospiceCare in Fitchburg. He was born on January 5, 1936, in Chilton, WI to Fred and Mary (Groeschl) Koehler. He was united in marriage to Jean Harms on June 18, 1960 in Sheboygan.

Vernon is survived by his children, Gregory (Karen) Koehler, Cheryl (Hobart) Davies and Deborah Tilley; grandchildren, Jonathan (fiancee Joanna Reierson) Koehler, Heather Koehler, Mackenzie, Eliza, and Rhys Davies and Grayce and Dallas Tilley; special friend, Nedra Ebsen; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Vernon was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Jean, brothers, Francis and Sylvester and a sister, Marcella.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. ALBERT THE GREAT CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2420 St. Albert Dr., Sun Prairie on Friday, April 23, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. with Monsignor Terrence Connors officiating. Burial will follow at Sacred Hearts Cemetery in Sun Prairie. A visitation will be held at church on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until time of mass.
