Vernon James Olrick

McFarland – Vernon James Olrick, age 92, on Tuesday March 4, 2025, finally had his wish come true to join his wife Jo in heaven. Vernon was born May 29,1932, in Neshkoro, WI. He spent 49 years in the printing business as a pressman and stripper. Vernon proudly served his Country in the United States Army in Alaska during the Korean War. He enjoyed hunting with his dogs, traveling and playing cribbage.

Vernon leaves behind daughter Diane (Steve King) Earhart; his special friend Ardy, and many family and dear friends.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 5801 Hwy 51, McFarland with Rev. Robert Vetter presiding. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM on Monday, March 17, 2025, at the funeral home, and also from 10:00 AM until the service at the funeral home on Tuesday.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Badger Honor Flight, 4000 International Ln, Madison, WI 53704, VFW post of your choice, or to Boys Town, PO Box 8000, Boys Town, NE 68010.
