Veronica Camacho

MADISON- Veronica Natalia Camacho, age 11, after accomplishing her mission in life passed away on Saturday Feb. 27, 2016. Veronica enjoyed music, sunshine and being outside. She treasured her time spent at the Easter Seals Camps very much. She was the very essence of Love! Veronica made everyone who knew her a better person, and she is now a star in the heavens that will enlighten us for eternity. We miss her already and know that now in Heaven, she is playing, laughing, singing and dancing with the Angels.
Veronica is survived by her father Carlos Enrique (Elizabeth Villarreal) Camacho, mother Laura (Shawn Cary) Darling, brother Martin Camacho, step brother Andre Canido and step sister Karen Canido, grandmother Barbara Darling, and further survived by aunts, uncles other relatives and friends.
The family wishes to thank the UW Children's Hospital, Central Wisconsin Center and her CAN Caregivers for her care every day, and also the Madison Metropolitan School District, Leopold Elementary School, and Cherokee Middle School. We also thank Easter Seals Wisconsin for her happy camp experiences.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday March 3, 2016 at ST. MARIA GORETTI CATHOLIC CHURCH, 5313 Flad Ave. Madison with Fr. Tafadzwa Kushamba presiding. Burial will be at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery. A visitation will be from 9:30 until the time of the Mass on Thursday. at the church.
