Vincent Anthony Endres, 96, went home to the Lord on May 8, 2024 with family by his side.  He was born to Ludwig and Catherine (Noltner) Endres on December 19, 1927.

Vincent married Lorraine Koch on June 16, 1953.  He is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren and in-laws; Jeanne (Ken) Baum, Eric and Andrew; Eileen (Vern) Statz, Jeff, Shelly and Anthony; Karen Murphy (wife of Vern), Danielle, Brent and Brooke; Richard (Jill), Tyler, Callie and Tia; David (Jeanne), Vincent, Sydney and Mitchell; Gary (Nancy), Nathan and Jaylee; Marjorie (Joe) Kahle, Thomas, Jacinta and Ellie; Julie (Bill) Schmitt, Lyndsay, Matthew, Michelle and Nicole along with 17 great-grandchildren and sister in-laws Lucille Endres, Evelyn Wagner and Elaine Koch.  He was preceded in death by his parents and sons Michael and Vernon, a daughter-in-law Patricia Endres, siblings and in-laws; Elizabeth (Theodore) Ziegler, Marie (Raymond) Ziegler, Loretta (Joseph) Karls, Dorothy (Harold) Hellenbrand, Joseph (Elizabeth), Donald, and David (Mary), Vincent (Selma) Koch, Stanley Wagner and Father Clarence Koch.

At age 26 Vincent was drafted into the army where he served his country from 1954 - 55.  He thoroughly enjoyed his Badger Honor Flight trip with his son Gary as his guardian.

Vincent spent most of his life farming and always watched the crops in the fields.  Even when he was no longer driving, he enjoyed it when family members would take him around to look at the fields.  He was a good steward of the land, adopting conservation measures and was an early adopter of modern technology for dairy farms including DHIA testing and artificial insemination.  Vincent also worked at Waunakee Manor, retiring at age 89.

Along with his busy life raising eight children and working his farm, he was involved with a number of community groups including the Knights of Columbus, Waunakee School Board, American Legion, volunteer driver for RSVP and several agriculture boards.

Vincent and his wife did the majority of their traveling to visit their foster children in other countries including Brazil, Peru, Chili, Mexico, Honduras, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Haiti, Dominican Republic and the Philippines.  On these trips they took along a number of grandchildren each time, giving them many memories with their grandparents.
