Vincent Brown, 48, of Madison was called home to be with the Lord on January 15, 2012. He is finally at peace after a lengthy battle with numerous medical issues that began in 1998. His family was by his side when he drifted off to be with the Lord. He was born in Milwaukee, WI on March 3, 1963 to Rose Ann (Bell) Brown and Whittie Brown. Vincent was an eternal optimist and a charmer who left an impression on everyone that he encountered. During the time he spent with us, he touched our lives and souls, and his presence in our life is a gift we will always be thankful for. Vincent is survived by his mother Rose Ann Brown; his sister Lynn Brown both of Madison. He also leaves several loving aunts, cousins and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his father Whittie Brown, his maternal grandparents, Lucille Morris and Edward Bell and his paternal grandparents, Pearl and Earl Brown. We would also like to extend our sincere gratitude to the staff at Community Treatment Alternatives, Community Living Alliance, UW Hospital and the UW Home Care staff. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Cress Funeral Home in Madison. The funeral will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, January 23rd at the funeral home with a visitation one hour prior; burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Madison.
