Vincent Angelo Citarella

Our precious baby boy, Vincent Angelo Citarella was born on September 13, 2024 at 7:45 am, and passed away in the arms of his loving mother (Ashley Citarella), on November 12, 2024 at 7:55 pm, knowing nothing but love and kindness. He was just a few hours shy of being 2 months old.

Vincent was born at 24 weeks gestation at 1lb 8oz and 11.5" long. He had the softest little cry, dark brown hair, long fingers and toes, and the cutest little button nose. Vincent was a born fighter who's tiny hands and bright eyes brought immeasurable joy to those around him. He loved tummy time, laying on his right side, cuddles with mommy, being read to by his big brother Luca, hand hugs, holding mommy's finger, and being sung to by mommy and brother. Although a short life, Vincent has left a huge void in our hearts and lives and will be greatly missed by all.  

We would like to give a deep, heart-felt thank you to the Unity Point Meriter Hospital Labor and Delivery and NICU team in Madison, WI. Their love and compassion towards both Vincent and his family during this incredibly difficult time is something that will never be forgotten. In a rather dark time, you brought love and light to Vincent during his short stay and for that we will forever be grateful.  

There will be a celebration of life to be planned at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to your local NICU in honor of Vincents memory.
