Virginia Beyersdorf

Virginia Beyersdorf, age 92 of Madison, died peacefully on Sunday, December 14, 2008 at Trinity Senior Management in Madison. Virginia was born on July 19, 1916 in Saint Ignace, Michigan, to Owen and Ina McGrath. She came from a family of ten brothers and sisters, with all of her brothers sailing on the Great Lakes ore haulers, including her brother Captain Ray.' Virginia met and married Dan Beyersdorf in Michigan in 1943. Dan worked for the Fed. Aviation Agency, and together they moved to Madison in 1949. Together they had two sons, Pat of Rochester, MN and Mitch of Madison. Dan died in 1997 and Virginia continued to live on Madison's east side. Virginia and her artwork will be missed by all who knew her. Survivors include: her two sons and her grandchildren: Chris, Mitch and Tracy. She is also survived by sisters: Rita and Madge of Michigan.   A private service is planned for a later date.   The family would like to thank the staff and her friends at Trinity Senior Management in Madison and Hospice Care for their great help.
