Virginia ""Ginny"" Bremser age 87, of Waunakee entered into eternal life, after a long and happy life, on Mon. Dec 7, 2009. The former Ginny Reitz was born on Sept 23, 1922 in Oconomowoc to Henry and Ella (Frank) Reitz. She graduated from Oconomowoc High School in 1940. She entered the Milwaukee Hospital School of Nursing in 1942 and graduated as a registered nurse in 1945. Ginny married Willard Bremser on Jan 31, 1948 and he preceded her in death on Nov 4, 2001. She continued to work as an RN in Milwaukee until 1967 when they moved to Waunakee. While in Waunakee she enjoyed knitting, camping, wintering in Texas, and being with family. Ginny was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, and the American Legion Auxillary, Unit 360. She always enjoyed volunteering with many organizations in Waunakee. She lived at home, on her own up until 2/1/2 years ago, when she moved to the Waunakee manor Assisted living. She made the Manor her home, meeting many new friends. Ginny is survived by her three children, Judy Bremser of Milwaukee, Mike (Cheryl) Bremser of Madison, and Joan (Rick) Osborn of Waunakee. Three grandchildren; Paul (Dorena) Bremser, Amanda Osborn, and Kristen (Ryan) Sabin; five great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. Two brothers; Henry and Billy, and a sister Dorothy. She was preceded in death by her husband and a grandson Scott Bremser in 2006 and two sisters Carol and Dolores. Funeral services will be held on Fri. Dec 11, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Peace Lutheran Church in Waunakee. Rev Bruce Engebretson will preside. Friends may call on Thurs Dec 10, 2009 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Winn-Cress Funeral Home in Waunakee. Friends may also call at the church on Friday from 10:00 AM until the time of services. Burial will take place in Sunset Memory Gardens in Madison. The family would like to send a special thank you to the staff at St Mary's Hospital, especially Dr Motl, Terri Patwell, nurses Judy and Stacey and the staff at the Waunakee Manor Assisted  living and nursing home. All of your dedication and caring made Ginny's last year and days on this earth peaceful and enjoyable.  Â
