Virgnia A. ""Ginny"" Wichita

Virginia A. ""Ginny"" Wichita , age 60, passed away peacefully at her home in Madison . She was born on February 24, 19 48 in Honolulu , Hawaii . Ginny was a group leader for the NAMI organization, and won their 2008 volunteer of the year award. She was very active in Polynesian dancing throughout her life, and was involved in several dancing groups. Ginny was an avid quilter, reader, and loved to spoil her grandson Zach. She was known for making friends wherever she went, and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Ginny is survived by her two daughters; Shelly (Donald) Johnson of Beloit, and Jen Wichita (Sam Woodford) of Brodhead; and one grandchild Zach Woodford. She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister. A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 24th, 2008 at Cress Funeral Home 3610 Speedway Road, Madison, WI at 8:00PM with a visitation beginning at 4:00PM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be given to NAMI of Dane County
