Wally enjoyed every day talking with people, which led him into other sales jobs. He also enjoyed watching football, playing a card game, cooking, and spending time out on the family farm. The past few years Wally was struggling with leg and knee problems, which initially began when a hay wagon came down on his leg when he was 16 years old. He never complained. Wally will be greatly missed by his family, friends and especially his daughter Haley Jo. Wally is survived by his daughter, Haley Jo; mother, Beverly; brother, James; sisters, Beth (Pat) Annen, and Diana (Don) Imhoff; nieces & nephews, Justin Annen, Nicole Annen, Angie (Paul) Lira, James Kessler Jr., Denise (Jake) Reno, Debra Imhoff, Danielle (Corey) Randl, Trenton Imhoff, Liliana Randl; and his former wife, Coleen Lutz. He was preceded in death by his father Carroll 'Pete' Kessler; grandparents, Walter & Esther Draeger and John & Edna Kessler; uncle, Capt. Walter F. Draeger Jr.; and recently, his special aunt, Bonnie Pierce. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 29, 2011 at 11:00 am at St. Paul's Liberty Lutheran Church, 3494 Oak Park Rd., Deerfield, with the Rev. Dan Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at St. Paul's Liberty Lutheran Cemetery.
