Stoughton - Warren Brewster III, age 77, passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital in Madison. He was born on January. 25, 1945, in Elkhorn, Wis., the oldest of two children, to Jeanette and Warren Brewster II.
Warren is survived by his wife of 44 wonderful years Paula (Loose) Brewster, his daughter, Lindsey (Bronson) Blum, sons; Eric (Natalie) Walters, Brett Walters; four grandchildren: Gregory, Rhea, Alyssa, and Brayden. Sister, Susan (Tom) Hall and niece, Allison (Tim Bradley) Hall. Cousin, Joann (Mike) Gilbert; among many other extended family and dear friends.
Warren graduated from Stoughton High School and continued his education at UW Whitewater. He was then drafted and served in Vietnam from 1967-1969. A few years later he started his career at Stoughton Trailers and in 2012 he retired as Vice President of Purchasing and Material Controls.
He was a dedicated man to his family and friends. Time spent with those he loved was the best time, from birthdays, to Badger or Packer games and especially Thanksgiving. A few of his many enjoyments were his love of long country rides on his Harley Davidson, car shows, taking care of his home, nature, animals, history and art. He would want us all to remember to take the back roads, the slow way, and enjoy all the special and smallest of moments. His kindness and love will remain with us forever. Warren leaves a legacy of the stories that will be shared time and again...and the love that will be treasured forever.
A celebration of life will be held in April of 2023. Updates will be on cressfuneralservices.com.
The family would like to express gratitude to the VA Hospital & VA Hospice doctors, nurses, and staff. We also want to extend our appreciation to Commonheart Home Health for all their care and compassion.
