Wendy Jean Schmudlach

We are sad to announce that after a brief battle with colon cancer, Wendy Jean Schmudlach (Knuteson) passed on peacefully from this earthly life to the promised life eternal on April 25, 2024 at home in Madison, WI at the age of 64. 

Wendy was loved by many and was fiercely loyal to her family, friends, and her Wisconsin sports teams through the good times and the bad.

A formal tribute will be updated in the coming days. 

In lieu of sending flowers, to honor her life, please consider sending a donation in her memory to the PBS Foundation (https://foundation.pbs.org/ways-to-give/memorial-honor-gifts/)  or the American Cancer Society. Both of these groups support causes that were important to Wendy and her loved ones. Alternatively, you may send a donation to the family directly to their home address via Wendy’s daughter Katie Schmudlach.

The family held a private service with family. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
