Wilda E. Jensen

Wilda E. Jensen, age 92, died Tuesday, September 14, 2010 in Portage.  She was born August 8, 1918, in Grimes, OK, the daughter of William and Wilda (Morrison)  Bain.  In May of 1942, Wilda was united in marriage with Ernest Jensen in Oklahoma City.  After graduating from college, she became a school teacher in Oklahoma and Oregon, WI.   Survivors include 2 sons: Tim (Jody) Jensen of Waterloo and Hans Jensen of Portage; 2 grandchildren: Lorina Faes of Sun Prairie and Jesse Jensen of Madison; 2 great grandchildren: Kelli Faes and Christopher Faes both of Sun Prairie; a brother Carl and a sister Juanita.  She was preceded in death by her husband Ernest of July 24, 1999, her parents and 6 brothers and sisters.   Services will be held at 1:30 pm Friday, September 17, at the CRESS FUNERAL HOME in Sun Prairie where friends may call from 11:00 am until time of service.  Evangelist Baxter Exum will officiate and burial will follow in Sacred Hearts Cemetery.  Memorials may be given to Four Lakes Church of Christ 302 Acewood Blvd. Madison, WI 53714.
