William E. Dye

William E. ""Bill"" Dye, age 90, passed away on Wed. April 20, 2011. He was born in Madison, Wis. on August 27, 1920. Bill married Betty Oakey on March 1, 1944. Bill served in the Pacific Theater during WWII at Pearl Harbor as an Army Staff Sergeant. He was an architect for the State of Wisconsin, having first worked with Flad & Assoc. Bill was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty. Bill is survived by his daughters, Susan Dye and Debra (Mark) Arnold; grandchildren, Jill, Jayne and Anna Arnold; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services for Bill will be held Saturday, April 30, 2011 at 10 a.m. at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, 7337 Hubbard Ave., Middleton, WI 53562, with Rev. Heather Lampert presiding. There will be a visitation for family and friends from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
