William Maly

William "Bill" Maly, age 50, of Middleton/ Ashton passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2017, at a Madison Hospital due to complications of a stroke he suffered 10 years ago. He was born on February 24, 1967. He grew up on a farm in Ashton and graduated from St. Peter Catholic Grade School in Ashton and Middleton High School, Class of 1985.

Before his stroke, Bill enjoyed life to the fullest. He enjoyed shooting pool, golf, softball, bowling, snowmobiling, watching the Milwaukee Brewers and to the dismay of his family and most of his friends, watching and cheering on the Dallas Cowboys.

He is survived by his parents, Norman and Lorraine (Birrenkott) Maly, Middleton; his sister, Joanne (Steve) Roudebush; nephews, Tyler Roudebush, Nick Roudebush, Danny Roudebush and niece, Kayla Roudebush, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Josephine (Kalscheur) Maly and Leo and Catherine (Hellenbrand) Birrenkott, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Aug 16, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at St Peters Catholic Church 7121 County Trunk K Middleton/Ashton. Rev. Tait Schroeder, Rev. Bud Holfelder and Rev. Brian Dulli will concelebrate the Mass. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will take place in the church cemetery.

The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Badger Prairie Health Care Center in Verona that gave excellent care to Bill and became his friends in his last years. We would also like to thank the doctors and staff at UW Hospital's Trauma Life Center for their compassionate care the last week.
