William Neeley Rupp passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Monday Aug. 21, 2023, leaving family and friends very heartbroken.
William was born at the Ft. Atkinson, WI hospital on April 7th, 2006, to Anthony W. Rupp and Charlotte L. Adams.
William resided in Stoughton living with his father, bonus-mom Chelsea, his little sister Emma and little brother Cameron. He attended the Stoughton school district, which provided him with a community of friends.
When William was younger, he enjoyed spending time with “His Meekia” (Grandma Karen Rupp), scouts, baseball, Pokémon, BMX biking, video games, and four wheeling on the land with Bacha (Grandpa William “Bill” Rupp). As a teen, William liked to cook, collect/sort cards with his dad, play with his siblings and hang out with friends and his Uncle Nathan Rupp. There were countless family events which included spending time with great grandparents Stanley and Alvina Phillips, and yearly family trips up north with Aunt Callie, Grandpa Terry and Grandma Wendy Phillips.
He took a position at the local Pick n Save where it was expressed to his father that William had a good work ethic and was liked by all.
William also found a special young lady to cook for and spend time with. William was proud of the feelings he had for Elsa and she was quickly loved by his family.
William enjoyed traveling to see his aunt Kelly Rupp, Grandma Tammy and Grandpa John Reinders in CA. This past June, William traveled to Texas to see his mom and little sister Madeline “Maddy”. He attended their family reunion, which he had a great time at and was able to visit with his G-Ma Mary Kay and Grandpa Andy Klein.
Our lives will never be the same.
William was preceded in death by great-grandparents Gerald and Barbara Seitz, Arthur and Irma Rupp, Bert and June Ramberg, and Grandma Wendy Phillips.
A celebration of William’s life will be held from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM, with a brief time of sharing at 4:00 PM, on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at Cress Funeral Home, 206 W. Prospect Street, Stoughton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the William Neeley Rupp memorial fund at One Community Bank.
Our whole family thanks you all for the outpouring support offered in so many ways. We have no word to describe the emotions taken place within us all at this time but knowing we are not alone is a great comfort.
Sleep, sleep my little one, for night has fallen and stars arise.
Dream, dream of sweetness, for tomorrow brings a new day.
If there’s a Will, there’s a way.
Please share your memories of William by posting in his Guestbook.
