Wilma Brockmiller

Madison - Wilma A. Brockmiller, age 75, passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2011, at home. She was born in a home her father built located in the town of Clearfield, WI, on March 11, 1936, the daughter of William and Hazel (Minard) Schams. She graduated from Mauston High school in 1954. Wilma was united in marriage in 1963 to Eugene Harold Brockmiller at First United Methodist Church in Madison.

She enjoyed working as a waitress, gardening, and passing time on the internet. Wilma was a longtime resident of Madison and was especially proud of her family.

Wilma is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Eugene, children, William (Natalya) Brockmiller and Barbara (Leo) Ocola, four grandchildren; Tanner Brockmiller, Alex Ocola, Rhett Brockmiller and Paloma Ocola, sister, Joan Maytum. She was preceded in death by, her parents, son Timothy, sister Marian and brother Bill.

A funeral service will be held at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3610 Speedway Road, Madison, on Monday, October 24, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend G. Keith Schroerlucke. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Wilma's name to The American Cancer Society, 8317 Elderberry Road Madison, WI 53717.
