Stoughton - Winifred Adell "Winn Adell" (Shinnick)Mulder died March 29, 2016. Knowing that this day would come I have written my own obituary. I was born July 7, 1930 in Watertown, SD moving to Wisconsin when I was 3, attended Oregon Public School, Madison Business College and MATC. I worked for the Celon Co, Madison, the Dept. of Navy, Washington DC, Dane County Highway Dept., Dept. of Motor Vehicle and retiring from the Dept. of Revenue in 1996.
A member of ABWA Madison Chapter was nominated women of the year 1984 and later held various offices in that organization. Nominated to the Revenue Clerical Advisory Committee serving 2 terms.

David and I enjoyed visiting different countries as Ireland, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, the Panama Canal, Australia, New Zealand, Figi, Alaska, and Hawaii. We also enjoyed visiting a casino or two on occasion. And watching our kids, grandchildren, and great grandchildren grow.

David and I were married August 16, 1952 celebrating our 50th anniversary in Australia in 2002 & our 60th in August 2012. Surviving is a son Dale (Melody Vike) of Stoughton, a daughter Terri Mulder of Madison & son-in-law Danny Gallagher, Stoughton. Eight grandchildren, Heather (Jason) Krantz of Cross Plains, Jeremy (Melissa) and Jesse (Jennifer Hammond) of Dodgeville, Kurt (Erica) Mulder of Gilbert, AZ., Chad and Nicole Gallagher (Jeremy Luchsinger) Stoughton, Jason Mezera (Kristi Schulta) of Hartford and Beth Thomure of Madison; and 8 great grandchildren, Christian Krantz, Mylee, Jase, and Jett, Bennett, Avery and Bria Mulder, and Rayne Gallagher.

Also surviving are sister-in-law Cora Shinnick, Fitchburg, Janet (David) Walvoord of Oostburg and brothers-in-law Wesley (Leona) West Bend and Charles (Judy) Delavan and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding me in death are my parents Ed and Blanche Shinnick, Oregon, my husband David, daughter Tracey Gallagher, great-granddaughter Kourtney, sister Gwen Mason, Hot Springs Village AR, brother M. Grant Shinnick Fitchburg & sisters-in-law Ellen Rafterry, Churchton, MD, Lucille Larson, Plymouth and Edith Orlenko, Sheboygan; and brothers-in-law John Orlenko, Bob Larson, Jack Rafterry, Gus Mason, and Willard and Harvey Mulder.

Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. on Monday, April 4, 2016 at Cress Funeral Home, 206 W. Prospect St., Stoughton, With Rev. Richard Halom presiding. Visitation will be from 9 A.M. until the time of services on Monday.
Immediately following the service friends and family will gather for a luncheon at the American Legion Post 59, 803 N. Page St., Stoughton.
