Holding on to feelings without a way to express them in healthy ways, can hinder your healing. Writing down what you’re thinking or feeling can be a surprising way to feel better, and even resolve something — unresolved.

As always, please let us know if there is anything we can do you help.
If you feel compelled, try this personal approach to helping yourself along. Remember, your writing doesn’t have to be grammatically correct. No one but you needs to know about your letter, or what it contains. This is simply a suggestion; a way to release emotions through the powerful process of writing. You can even go to the cemetery or a special place to read it aloud.
Many people have found that sitting down to hand-write a letter to their lost loved one has offered incredible feelings of peace, resolution or simply feeling better. Journaling will also help you understand that all your feelings are legitimate—not right or wrong— and that they will probably decrease or change over time and will eventually become only a memory.
